The Enlit System Capabilities

  • Evaluation Model: Assesses and analyzes performance on basis of how much is being spent, who is being served, services being provided and results being delivered.   Analyzes trends in performance, and shows you how you compare to peer group performance.
  • Scope: K – 8, High School and Special Education;  Operations including Transportation, Facilities, Food Service, Purchasing and Technology; Administration including 7 core administrative areas; Human Resources
  • Data Warehouse: Stores critical performance data and results along a number of dimensions including time, size, location, type and other attributes
  • Data Analysis: Enlit integrates concepts and tools from lean and six sigma improvement methods; management accounting, activity based costing, operations and financial analysis, benchmarking and performance measurement.
  • Measures: Uses cost and services drivers (factors that create the demand for service or impact the cost of the service), district attributes and over 450 performance measures to track, measure and assess performance ( efficiency and effectiveness, productivity, responsibility, work loads,  staffing, compensation, supply chain efficiency, assset utilization, energy efficiency, and other traditional and non traditional academic measures.    We use a combination of traditional and not traditional measures including relative measures to put a fence around the real performance issues and help users develop deep insight into root causes of differences.
